Somali Dad Fighting Blindness: Support My Journey
My name is Burhan, a Somali father currently in Kenya.
Back home in Somalia, I have young children who are waiting for me, depending on me for care, support, and a brighter future.
Recently, I was diagnosed with a serious eye condition that has affected my vision and daily life. Without treatment, my situation will only get worse. After many struggles, I reached out to hospitals abroad and, Alhamdulillah, I received a medical invitation for treatment.
But now I face a heartbreaking obstacle:
I cannot afford the costs of travel, visa, accommodation, and medical care. As a father, it is painful knowing my children are waiting for me, while I cannot yet provide the life, health, and stability they deserve.
This is why I am humbly reaching out to you.
