The Reason behind the campaign:
Lebanese women are facing period poverty, mainly difficulties in accessing menstrual hygiene tools because sanitary pads have become expensive and have increased by 320%. One pack was sold at 3.250 LL and nowadays it is sold for 30.000LL on average.
41.8%* have reduced the sanitary pads they use during their menstrual cycle or use the same pad for longer period. Also 76.5%* of females in Lebanon expressed difficulty in accessing menstrual products due to the sharp increase in prices.
Period poverty is not only about hygiene and medical complication but also mental health. It may limit access to school, playing on sports team, socializing and this is alarming and must be considered.

Objective:
Our target is to distribute 6 packs of sanitary pads per Lebanese women aged between 12 and 45 years old, so we can help her for around 4 months. Our aim is to help 15000 Lebanese woman from all over the country.
