My name is Harshana, and I am a tuk tuk driver in Sri Lanka. I’ve worked for years as a taxi driver, and my tuk tuk is the only way I can earn money to support my family.

Right now, I’m going through a hard time. My tuk tuk is very old and damaged, and I can’t afford the full repair cost. Without it, I cannot work — and without work, I cannot pay for food, rent, or bills. This vehicle is more than just transport — it's our family’s only income source.
