Hi, my name is Toni, and I am raising funds for my brother Michel, 38, as he prepares for a kidney transplant, pending doctors’ approval. Michel has been living with a disability since a car accident 9 years ago, and I am his full-time caregiver, assisting with daily needs, exercises, and personal care.

Two months ago, Michel’s health worsened—he was not urinating enough, and his feet began to swell. Doctors confirmed he is suffering from kidney failure. He now requires dialysis and essential medications to stabilize his condition and prepare for a transplant.

Finding affordable treatment has been very challenging. The most accessible dialysis option costs $25 per session in a city over an hour away. He requires 3 sessions per week, totaling 12 sessions per month. In addition, his medications cost $548 per month.
