Background and Current Status

I am a Sri Lankan citizen currently living in Italy with my husband and our five-year-old son. In our rented house, my husband is the main income earner. Unfortunately, two and a half months ago, my husband suffered a serious leg fracture, which prevented him from working and during this period he completely lost his income.

I have not been able to maintain a full-time job as I have no one to support me. While my son is in school, I work only three days a week, three hours a day. This limited income is mainly used to cover our weekly food expenses.

Currently, the small salary my husband usually earns is not enough to meet essential expenses such as house rent, electricity bills, gas bills and other daily needs. As a result of this difficult situation, I have been unable to pay:

1. My son’s school fees in December, January (€250 ×2)
