Help a Mother in Gaza Care for Her Child

Family

Help a Mother in Gaza Care for Her Child
In the ruins of Gaza, where the echoes of explosions never seem to fade, there lives a mother who wakes up every day with one mission: to keep her children alive. She was once a teacher. Her husband, a builder. Together they built a small life filled with hope, laughter, and plans for the future. But war has a way of tearing everything apart — not just buildings, but dreams too. Now, they are among the thousands of displaced families living in makeshift tents, set up in overcrowded camps where clean water is scarce, food is even scarcer, and the cold winds at night cut through every layer of cloth. The word “home” has become a memory, replaced by the soft flapping of torn tarps and the dust that never settles. The mother’s days begin before dawn, not with a peaceful morning but with the cries of her two-year-old son, Yousef, shivering in the cold, hungry and in need of diapers and formula she can no longer afford. The smell of sewage from the nearby drainage mixes with the morning air, and flies buzz constantly around the tent. Her daughter Lina, just 10, used to love school. She once spoke of becoming a doctor, someone who could save lives. Now she sits quietly, staring out of the tent, clutching a worn-out notebook with half the pages missing. Education is no longer a right — it’s a distant dream. Maya, the five-year-old, barely speaks anymore. The trauma of constant bombings, of losing friends, of running barefoot on rubble — it has silenced her. She holds her mother’s dress tightly whenever there’s a loud sound, fearing it’s another airstrike. The father tries daily to find work — any kind of work — but with nearly all infrastructure destroyed, unemployment is almost total. Aid lines stretch for hours, and food rations barely last a day or two. Even bread is a luxury. There are days when they have to choose between food and clean water. Between feeding the children or saving the last bit of baby formula for Yousef. Between enduring the hunger or risking a trip outside the camp under the threat of shelling. They are not alone. This family is one story among thousands. Gaza is in the grip of one of the worst humanitarian disasters in recent history. According to international organizations, over 70% of the population is now food insecure. Children are dying not only from bombs, but from starvation, dehydration, and treatable diseases that go untreated due to the collapse of the healthcare system. The tents offer little protection. When it rains, water pours through the gaps. When it's cold, there's no heating. When it's hot, there's no shade. Sanitation is a crisis — there are not enough toilets or showers, and infections spread rapidly among children, especially the young. Imagine being a mother watching your child waste away from malnutrition, knowing that no amount of love or lullabies can fill their empty stomach. That’s her reality — every single day. But even in this darkness, there’s still a glimmer of hope. And that hope can come from you. Your donation— no matter how small — can help this mother buy essential baby formula, diapers, clean water, and food. It can help her keep her children warm at night with proper blankets. It can help them get medical attention before it’s too late. This is more than a plea for charity. It’s a call for humanity. In a world where so much is spent on destruction, let’s choose to build. In a world where some throw away food, let’s feed the hungry. In a world filled with noise, let’s listen to the silent cries of children like Yousef, Maya, and Lina. You have the power to bring change — not for everyone, but for *someone*. And for this mother, that would mean the world. Donate today. Share their story. Be part of their miracle.

Empower Human Trafficking Survivors in Nepal

Empower Human Trafficking Survivors in Nepal
Every year, thousands of women and young girls in Nepal are stolen from their families, lured by false promises of a better life, only to find themselves trapped in a nightmare of exploitation, abuse, and hopelessness. These women face unbelievable horrors—forced into labor, sexually exploited, and stripped of their dignity. They have no voice, no freedom, no way out. But there is hope. SASANE (Saving and Empowering Survivors of Nepali Women) is a beacon of light in the darkness, offering a lifeline to survivors who have endured the unimaginable. Through safe housing, education, job training, and a network of support, SASANE helps these women reclaim their lives and start over. SASANE isn’t just an organization—it's a movement led by survivors, for survivors. But we can't do this alone. We need your help. Together, we can provide these women with the chance they deserve—a chance to heal, rebuild, and thrive. This is more than a fundraising campaign; it's an invitation to change lives, to restore dignity, and to give women in Nepal a future free from the chains of trafficking. The Crisis: Human Trafficking Epidemic: Every year, over 15,000 women and girls in Nepal are trafficked—deceived by promises of jobs, education, and a better life, only to be sold into slavery. They endure sexual violence, physical abuse, and forced labor, trapped in a cycle of terror and isolation. No Place to Turn: Once freed, survivors are often left with nothing—no home, no support, and no way to rebuild their lives. They are vulnerable, stigmatized, and without hope. In a society where resources are scarce, many feel as though there is no way out. Gaps in Support: Lack of awareness and understanding of human trafficking in local communities and law enforcement makes it even harder for survivors to find justice or the support they need to heal. Without intervention, many women are re-trafficked, or heartbreakingly, left to suffer in silence. The Sasane Solution: Safe Housing and Healing: At SASANE, we offer survivors a safe place to live and recover—two dedicated housing facilities where women find not just shelter, but love, care, and community. Here, they are empowered to heal emotionally and physically, surrounded by others who understand their pain. Paralegal Training: SASANE provides survivors with the tools they need to rebuild their lives. Through paralegal training, survivors gain the skills to advocate for themselves and others, helping them seek justice and defend their rights. Education also opens doors to future employment opportunities and independence. Sisterhood Trekking and Travel Co: SASANE Sisterhood Trekking and Travel Company trains survivors in tourism, cooking, and hospitality, providing women with the skills needed for long-term success. SASANE also teaches English and basic computer skills. Since 2016, SASANE has already trained over 70 women in hospitality roles and over 30 women as trekking and tour guides. Community Outreach and Awareness: Through relentless outreach, SASANE works to educate communities and law enforcement about human trafficking. We reduce stigma, raise awareness, and provide local leaders with the tools to identify and support trafficking survivors, creating safer communities for everyone. The Impact of Your Support: Saving Lives: Your donation ensures that women and girls who have suffered through the darkest of times can find hope again. Your support provides them with safe housing, life-changing education, and the emotional care they need to heal. Empowering Women: With your help, survivors can regain their sense of self-worth, learn to defend their rights, and gain the skills they need to live independently and with dignity. Creating a Ripple Effect: Your generosity will have a lasting impact. Together, we can help SASANE reach more survivors, spread awareness, and reduce the number of women and girls who fall victim to trafficking. Your contribution can help break the cycle of exploitation and create a safer world for generations to come. One Woman’s Journey: Meet Sitasma. Trafficked from rural Nepal, she was sold into sexual exploitation in India. She suffered unspeakable abuse until she managed to escape. When she found SASANE, everything changed. Through SASANE’s programs, Sitasma gained the skills to become a licensed trekking guide. Now, she supports herself and her family with the income she earns, and her story of survival is just one of many. For a more in depth look at Sitasma’s journey, click this link: https://www.tourism-watch.de/en/article/a-new-life/ Take Action and Change a Life: Your support does more than provide financial assistance—it gives survivors of human trafficking the chance to rebuild their lives. With your donation, you’ll fund safe housing, education programs, and vital community outreach that are crucial in breaking the cycle of trafficking and empowering women to reclaim their futures. This is a moment for change. Together, we can offer these women hope, freedom, and the opportunity to start anew. Act now. Join us in creating a brighter future for those who need it most. Your contribution will transform lives.

A Lawyer Who Lost Everything but His Humanity

Emergency

A Lawyer Who Lost Everything but His Humanity
Mahmoud’s Story: A Lawyer Who Lost Everything but His Humanity My name is Mahmoud Afana. I am a Palestinian lawyer from Rafah in the Gaza Strip. For more than ten years, I have dedicated my life to defending rights, empowering the vulnerable, and advocating for justice in courts and communities. I have worked on humanitarian and legal projects with both local and international organizations, and I have been part of efforts to protect marginalized groups such as women, children, and displaced persons. But in the recent war, I lost everything. My home was completely destroyed by airstrikes. My law office—the only source of income I had—was reduced to rubble. All means of work and livelihood came to a halt. I was forced to flee to the Al-Mawasi area in Khan Younis, where there is no shelter, no electricity, no clean water, and none of the basic necessities of life. I now live without a home, without an income, and without the resources to support myself and my family or start again. Despite it all, I have not stopped contributing in any way I can. I’ve participated in legal support projects for displaced people, conducted free legal awareness workshops, and continued to raise the voices of those who have none amid the destruction. But today, I need someone to stand with me—just as I have stood with others for years. I am asking for your support to help me rebuild my life. Your support today is not just for me, but an investment in someone who has always helped others and wants to continue doing so—despite having lost everything. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference.

Biodiversity Fund
Biodiversity Fund
Beyond the Cleanup: Invest in a Naturally Cleaner, Greener Future with Biodiversity Fund Forget the surface-level fixes. While beach cleanups are a vital part of the picture, the Biodiversity Fund goes deeper, tackling the root causes of environmental degradation in our precious oceans and forests through innovative, science-backed solutions. We invite you to invest in a future where nature doesn't just survive, but thrives – a future that is naturally clean and vibrantly green. Our approach is different. We partner with leading scientific groups to implement targeted, effective strategies that go far beyond traditional methods. In our forests, we're not just planting trees; we're restoring life's vital connections. Many forest ecosystems rely on a delicate dance between plants and pollinators. Habitat loss and fragmentation have disrupted this crucial process, threatening the health and regeneration of these vital carbon sinks. Our scientific collaborations focus on understanding these intricate relationships and actively working to restore them. This can involve specialized techniques to support native pollinator populations, ensuring the successful reproduction and growth of a diverse and resilient forest, securing their future for generations to come. In our oceans, we're harnessing the power of nature itself to heal and restore. Pollution and excess nutrients are choking our marine environments. Instead of simply removing वेस्ट (waste), we are deploying ocean-friendly micro organic solutions, specifically beneficial algae. These microscopic powerhouses act as natural biofilters, absorbing excess nutrients and pollutants, helping to restore water quality and create a healthier environment for marine life. This innovative approach addresses the imbalance at a fundamental level, fostering a more resilient and vibrant ocean ecosystem.

Mohammed from Gaza: A Wounded Heart, an Unbreakabl

Mohammed from Gaza: A Wounded Heart, an Unbreakabl
Hello, my name is Mohammed Aish, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart from Gaza, Palestine. I am a web developer and programmer with over four years of experience working with Saudi companies. I hold a master’s degree in Computing and Information Systems, and I am currently pursuing my PhD at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) in Spain, focusing on improving decentralized autonomous organizations through blockchain and deep learning. Before the war began, I underwent a critical open-heart surgery to replace a valve with a mechanical one. While the surgery was a success, I was still in the recovery phase when the war broke out. The ongoing conflict has left me without access to the medication and proper nutrition essential for my health. I am now facing unimaginable challenges, both physically and emotionally. The war has not only shattered my health but also my life. My home has been completely destroyed. I lost my laptop—my main tool for work and study—and most of my belongings. My work as a programmer with Saudi companies has come to a halt because of the war, leaving me without an income to support myself or my family. Despite these devastating setbacks, I am determined to continue my academic journey and rebuild my life. My dream is to complete my PhD and make meaningful contributions to the world through my research. However, the current situation has left me with no means to survive, let alone study. This fundraiser will help me: Secure the necessary medication and proper nutrition to recover from my surgery. Rebuild my life and replace essential tools, including a laptop, to continue my academic work. Leave Gaza and ensure I can safely continue my PhD studies in Spain. Your support means more than just financial aid—it represents hope. It will allow me to escape the destruction, recover my health, and pursue my dreams of building a better future for myself, my family, and my community. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to recovery and rebuilding my life. I am deeply grateful for your kindness, generosity, and belief in my ability to overcome this dark chapter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Together, we can create a brighter tomorrow.

Support nour's education to become a doctor
I am Nour, 21 years old, who was supposed to be in third year at Al-Azhar University and writer from Gaza. With the explosion of war my world collapsed. In the beginning, the war on Gaza destroyed many of my dreams, ambitions, and plans after we learned that my college where I was studying had been bombed.
