My name is Qasem Toman, a university student from Gaza, Palestine.
I once dreamed of completing my studies and building a better future, but the ongoing war turned my life upside down and tore my family apart.
👨👩👧👦 My Family
We are a family of six:
I am currently in Egypt with my mother, brother, and sister, after being forced to leave Gaza.
My father, my other sister, and her husband remain trapped in Gaza, facing danger and a severe lack of basic necessities.
💔 Our Current Situation
Our home still stands, but it was damaged by bombings and is located in a dangerous area we cannot return to.
Our family is torn apart between Egypt and Gaza, struggling for food, medicine, and shelter.
In Gaza, my father, sister, and her husband live under unbearable conditions.
In Egypt, we live without income, only trying to cover rent and basic needs.
🌿 My Olive Tree Story
In 2020, with my own hands, I planted more than 300 olive trees on our land near the border.
To me, they were not just trees. They symbolized life, roots, and hope. I dreamed they would grow with me, becoming a source of pride and livelihood for my family.
But recently, the land was bulldozed, and every tree I planted with love and effort was destroyed.
With them, I lost a part of my soul—not just olive trees.
🎯 Why We Are Fundraising
Through this campaign, we are seeking support to:
Provide food, clean water, and medicine for the family in Gaza.
Cover housing and living expenses for us in Egypt.
Support medical care and treatment when needed.
Work toward reuniting our family in a safe place.

Purchasing food, water, and medicine from the few available sources in Gaza.
Paying for housing and daily expenses in Egypt.
Covering medical treatment or travel costs if evacuation becomes possible.
