Help Noor survive and achiving his dreams ⭐⭐⭐
My name is Noor, and I am from Gaza. I grew up in circumstances I did not choose, but I chose not to surrender to them. I completed my high school studies (Tawjihi) and achieved a high grade despite the many hardships, believing that education is my only path toward a better future for myself and my family. My family is facing extremely difficult health and humanitarian conditions. My father is battling cancer and requires continuous treatment and care that we cannot afford. My mother suffers from a herniated disc and chronic illnesses that severely limit her ability to move or work, placing an even heavier burden on our family. Because of this, providing basic necessities such as food, clean water, and daily medical needs has become an overwhelming challenge. There are days when we do not know how we will survive, yet we continue to hold on to hope. Despite all this pain, I still carry a dream that refuses to fade: to continue my university education and one day become a cardiac surgeon. I dream of saving lives, healing hearts, and giving back to others what life could not give to us. I want to be a source of pride for my family and my homeland. Your donation, no matter how small, is not just financial support—it is a chance at life, a chance to learn, and a chance to keep my dream alive instead of watching it disappear under the weight of illness and poverty. Your support could be the difference between giving up and moving forward, between stopping and achieving a lifelong dream. Thank you to everyone who reads my story, to every kind heart, and to everyone who chooses to be a reason for hope.

Wanted: Dreamweavers for SW Detroit schoolchildren

Wanted: Dreamweavers for SW Detroit schoolchildren
Fifteen years ago, a small group of friends offered support and friendship to a Detroit public elementary school. Now, Bridgepointe comprises thousands of schoolchildren and families from city and suburb who come together to learn from one another and empower each other. Throughout the year, our schools partner to package food for needy families, plant community gardens, put on field days, build libraries, coordinate educational enrichment programs and field trips, mentor, tutor, and run reading programs at various schools in southwest Detroit. A year ago, a dedicated group of Bridgepointe volunteers pledged to work with the 77 fourth graders at Academy of Americas in southwest Detroit through their high school graduation. El Sueño "The Dream" is the name the children chose for our project. As our El Sueño students begin fifth grade this fall, we remain committed to work with them and their families, providing them with tutoring, enrichment programs, mentoring, and field trips along the way. Become a Dreamweaver, a donor for El Sueño Project, by funding this campaign. Each donation is an individual thread of encouragement that when woven together with others will provide a strong fabric of support for these hardworking schoolchildren. With your gift, these students can receive necessary tutoring this year, as well as mentoring and enrichment experiences that they most likely would not have the chance to encounter otherwise. These field trips include four swim lessons, a college visit, two visits to a senior center (where they will meet their pen pals), two museum visits, a hiking trip, a weekend camp recommended by their principal, and a Be A Farmer for a Day field trip that will focus on nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle. Please see the breakdown of costs below. The "other enrichment programs" category includes anti-bullying workshops, art appreciation workshops, and potentially a visit from The Classical Jam or another music group. We are currently working with their fifth grade teachers to tie these enrichment programs into their curriculum. Your donations are 100% tax deductible (you will recieve a tax receipt when you donate), and 100% of your money will go directly to these students' needs. If you would prefer to mail us a check, our address is 21800 Haggerty Rd. Ste 205, Northville, MI 48167. Thank you so much!
