Help a Family After a Devastating Fire
One year and three months ago, a massive fire ravaged the Jabal neighborhood (Djibouti City). 38 houses were completely destroyed, including mine and those of my three brothers. We lost everything: furniture, clothes, documents, savings… We escaped with our lives, but only in the clothes we were wearing that day. Since this tragic event, we have been living in rented accommodation, which has become a very heavy financial burden. To rebuild our lives and repay the debts incurred because of this disaster (emergency materials, temporary rent, basic needs), I have accumulated a debt of 1,000,000 Djiboutian francs (approximately 5,600 USD). Today, creditors are starting to demand their money insistently, and I can no longer cope alone with the rent and my family's daily needs. I am a father, I work hard, but the consequences of this fire have plunged us into a very difficult situation. We have no insurance, and the aid received so far has been limited. **Goal of this campaign:** Relieve the immediate pressure by repaying some of the most urgent debts, paying several months of rent in advance, and starting to rebuild or stabilize our situation in the long term. Every donation, even small, will make a huge difference and allow us to breathe and move forward. I commit to full transparency: I will share photos of the damage (if you wish), receipts, and regular updates on how the funds are used. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who reads this message and can help, even just by sharing. May God reward you abundantly for your generosity. **Amine Ali** Djibouti City WhatsApp Contact: +25377714506 Email: liamine81@hotmail.com

Help bring Amber to the Philippines

Help bring Amber to the Philippines
I am an OFW currently living in Cambodia, far away from my home in the Philippines. This is a story I never thought I would have to tell, but I am sharing it now with humility and hope. Amber, my Labrador Retriever, came into my life unexpectedly. A person I knew gave him to me after learning how much I love dogs. Back home in the Philippines, I already have five dogs. When Amber was offered to me, I learned that no one else was willing to take responsibility for him. Out of compassion—and without thinking of the long-term consequences—I took him in. I couldn’t bear the thought of him being neglected or abandoned. Time passed, and Amber became more than just a dog. He became my family. We grew together, faced loneliness together, and found comfort in each other in a foreign land. Now, Amber is getting older, and my heart tells me it’s time to bring him home with me to the Philippines. That’s when reality hit me hard. I discovered that bringing Amber back home would cost around USD 3,000—for permits, vaccinations, quarantine requirements, and travel expenses. As an OFW, I have tried to save, but my savings are simply not enough to cover this amount. There were moments when I thought about leaving him behind or giving him to someone else. But every time I look into Amber’s eyes—eyes full of trust, love, and loyalty—I break. I cannot imagine the fear and confusion he would feel if I left him. After all these years, he only knows me as his home. I am not asking for help lightly. I am asking because I truly cannot do this alone. With all my heart, I am asking for your support to help me bring Amber safely home to the Philippines. Any amount, any share, any kind word means more than you can imagine. I promise to provide updates throughout every step of the process—from paperwork to travel—until Amber finally sets foot on Philippine soil. Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Thank you for giving us hope. Because Amber is not just a dog—he is my family. 🐾💙
