Support Jess through this unimaginable diagnosis
Our beautiful Jess, our sister, daughter, devoted mum, soulmate to Andy, and cherished friend to so many, has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). This has metastasised (spread) to her liver and gallbladder. What we know so far is that this cancer is very rare and aggressive. With no options for a cure, we are hoping that Chemo might give us more time, our family is doing everything we can to support her through the treatment and journey ahead. Jess is a devoted mum to four incredible girls, step mum to Archie and Theo, and possibly the kindest, most genuine, and gentle humans you could ever meet. She gives so much of herself to others, to her family, her friends, and her clients through her work as an OT. Now, it’s our turn to help hold her. We’re raising funds to help ease the financial pressure while Jess and Andy navigate next steps around treatment. We hope to extend survival, improve quality of life, and give Jess the chance to be as comfortable as possible, do some of the things she loves, and spend precious time with the people she loves. At this stage, we are not sure that Jess will be able to return to work in any capacity. Funds raised will go toward medical costs, travel to appointments, household bills, and supporting Andy and the kids during this incredibly tough and heartbreaking time. When life changes so suddenly, the last thing anyone should have to worry about is how they’ll pay the bills or take time off work to care for the person they love. If you’re able to donate, big or small, it will make a real difference. If you can’t donate, we completely understand and simply ask that you can help by sharing this page or sending love and prayers. It all really means the world to us. Thank you for standing with Jess and our family. ❤

A Heartfelt Plea for Help in Our Final Years
Certainly. Here is a more sympathetic, heartfelt, and emotionally resonant version of your message that appeals deeply to the compassion of potential donors: --- **A Heartfelt Plea for Help in Our Final Years** Dear kind-hearted reader, With deep humility and hope, I reach out to you today. I am 72 years old, and my beloved wife is 74. We are two elderly souls trying to survive the most difficult chapter of our lives—one marked by illness, hardship, and the slow fading of strength we once took for granted. We are both battling serious health conditions. I suffer from heart disease, arthritis, a failing thyroid, psoriasis, and neuropathy. These conditions have robbed me of the ability to work or even move about as I once did. My dear wife, who has stood beside me through every hardship, is also unwell. She lives with severe food and medication allergies, and now urgently needs cataract surgery in both eyes. It pains me deeply to watch her suffer, knowing I have so little to offer in return. We have no steady income, no savings, and no pension to rely on. Each day brings the crushing weight of medical bills, the rising cost of basic living, and the fear of not knowing how we’ll make it through another month. In the final stage of our lives, when we should be resting in peace and comfort, we are instead caught in a daily struggle to simply survive. With all the courage I have left, I am asking for your help. We are hoping to raise $5,000 to cover medical treatment, medications, food, and daily living costs. This support would give us the relief we so desperately need and allow us to face the rest of our journey with dignity and peace. As a way to give back, I would be more than willing to offer my services to any kind donor. I have many years of experience preparing professional documents—business proposals, personal paperwork, and more. It would be my honor to assist you in any way I can, in sincere gratitude for your compassion. If you find it in your heart to help us, please know that your kindness will not be forgotten. You will be giving more than money—you will be giving hope, comfort, and a lifeline to two people in their time of greatest need. With heartfelt Parakrama Keerthisinghe ---

Help a stateless Palestinian refugee to survive
Title: Help a Palestinian Refugee Rebuild His Life and Access Medical Care My name is Obaida. I am a Palestinian refugee living in Lebanon, where I have spent most of my life. Like many refugees here, my family and I live under extremely difficult economic conditions. We are struggling to meet even our most basic needs. I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, a lifelong mental health condition that requires continuous treatment, stability, and medical care. Living with this illness while facing poverty, uncertainty, and displacement has been overwhelming. In an attempt to change my situation and support my family, I traveled to South Africa and applied for asylum, hoping for safety and a chance at a dignified life. Unfortunately, my asylum request was rejected. After this rejection, the psychological pressure became unbearable, and I went through a very dark period in my life. I survived a serious crisis, and since then I have been trying to focus on healing and rebuilding myself. Today, I am asking for your help for two main reasons: To access proper medical treatment and mental health care so I can live with bipolar disorder in a stable and healthy way To find a legal and safe opportunity outside Lebanon that would allow me to improve my life and help support my family Your support—no matter how small—can help me receive treatment, regain stability, and work toward a future with dignity and hope. If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign would mean a great deal to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for your kindness and humanity
