Lilas Abo alsbaa is a 17-year-old girl who has a passion for painting and studying. She has a YouTube channel where she showcases her art: https://youtube.com/@lilasart1. She is in the 11th grade of secondary school and is top of her class. Five months ago, she was diagnosed with autoimmune encephalitis, a rare and serious condition that causes inflammation of the brain. This can lead to memory loss, personality changes, seizures, movement disorders, and other neurological problems. She is in the ICU of Saint George Hospital (El roum Hospital, Ashrafieh) ever since, receiving the best possible care. She needs mechanical ventilation to help her breathe, a feeding tube to provide nutrition she lost half of her weight, and wound care for bedsores. She is making progress every day, but she still has a long way to go. Her treatment and recovery are very expensive and we need your help to cover the costs. Hey everyone My name is Peter and I live in Lebanon-Beirut , and I was hoping to keep this platform my last option/hope to help my dad in his Cancer suffering. On October 2022 we found out that my dad ( Varoujean Sayegh )is diagnosed with Lymph nodes Cancer stage 2 and it's been a hard and an endless fight since then . We already did everything (chemotherapy , tests , immunity Shots , jumping from a Dr to another) and after 6 sessions of chemotherapy and several nights of intense care we paid approximately 30.000$ because of the situation in Lebanon and lack of health care and insurance and the economic crisis. In May he was clean from Cancer and we were happy that his constant suffering had finally ended. Unfortunately, after we had a PET scan on July 22nd 2023 we found out that the cancer is back and we have to go through everything again and on top of it a bone marrow transplant, which i will be donating it myself, considering i am the perfect match. My goal is to raise funds to help him go through chemotherapy all over again and the last part is to complete the bone marrow transplant ( out of our pockets ) . After Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy, her oncologist informed her that she will be embarking on a new kind of treatment... immunotherapy for the upcoming 2 years! Stefanie has no external financial support and is eager to get through this phase to go back to living the life she had with her loving family. The expanses we are trying to cover include the following: She requires injections of Mabtera (rituximab) (800mg) every 50 days, for a span of 2 years. Each injection actually costs $2100, but her doctor has managed to secure it with a cheaper price of $600. The total cost of her treatment over the span of one year is $3600 from which we were able to secure $600!! Our main goal is to provide the $3000 and help Steph in her journey to recovery.
