Baby Koa’s Fight
My name is Suzette Van Wyk, and I am a mother asking for help for my baby son, Koa, who has been diagnosed with Severe Hemophilia A. Hemophilia A is a rare, lifelong bleeding disorder where the blood does not clot properly. Even a small injury or internal bleeding can become life-threatening, especially for a child so young.
Koa requires frequent hospital visits, constant monitoring, and expensive medical treatment, including clotting factor replacement, to prevent dangerous bleeding episodes. As parents, we are doing everything we can, but the financial burden of his care is overwhelming.
We are raising funds to help cover hospital bills, medical treatment, medication, transport to medical facilities, and ongoing care. Every donation, no matter how small, will help us give Koa the chance to grow, play, and live a safer, healthier life.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing our story. Your support can help safe our son.
