Hello, I'm Hasitha, and I'm organizing this campaign on behalf of a brave and resilient man and his family. This is his story:
My name is Isuru, I am 38 years old, and I live in Sri Lanka, in a small village where life is already a daily struggle for survival. But beyond poverty and hardship, I now face the most difficult challenge of my life — a fight against malignant liver cancer and chronic heart disease.
Doctors have informed me that my condition is at an advanced stage. Without urgent medical treatment, I may not have much time left. In Sri Lanka, especially in rural areas, access to specialized medical care is extremely limited, and the cost of private treatment is far beyond what my family and I can afford.
I’ve tried to stay strong for my loved ones, but each day brings more pain, more fatigue, and more fear. I've lost weight, my appetite is gone, and every movement feels heavier than the last. I can no longer work or support my family as I once did. My children see me growing weaker, and I can see the worry in their eyes.
Today, I speak from a place of vulnerability — but also hope. I’m reaching out with an open heart, asking for your support. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward the urgent treatment I need. It’s not just about prolonging life — it’s about giving me a chance to be there for my family, to fight this illness with the dignity and strength that everyone deserves.
