This Adha, we plan to do the same. For every donation of $50 USD we will distribute a package containing: 3KG of Wheat 3KG of Lentils 3KG of Chickpeas 3KG of Beans 2 Bars of Organic Lebanese Soaps. Given that the unprecedented socioeconomic crisis afflicts all segments of society, population groups at the highest and lowest ends of the educational ladder now have similar poverty rates. The UN children’s agency has warned that children in Lebanon face critical levels of hunger, illness and missed education as 80 per cent of the population has been plunged into poverty by the country’s economic crisis, deemed one of the world’s worst since 1850. As the Holy Month approaches, many Lebanese families cannot afford to break their fast. A food care package costs $17 and can feed a family of four during the whole month. One night, when all the family were dining in the salon, the roof start to fritter and suddenly all the roof of the salon fall down and damaged all the parts of the house. Because most of the rooves of the house were deteriorated, they all fall down in few days after this terrible night.
