Save My Cats From Being Left Behind
Please help me cover airline fees, vet documents, and import permits so I don’t have to abandon my cats when relocating. Hi, my name is Maria, and I’m preparing to move from Lebanon to Dubai for work so i can try to finish my education and to progress with my life goals. Unfortunately, my family is facing financial challenges due to unexpected circumstances it impossible for my parents to provide support. I live alone, and Lebanon’s current instability makes everything much harder since salaries are not great. i have nowhere to keep my cats and I don’t want to leave them behind as they are my family and my emotional support through everything. I have two amazing cats who need me as much as I need them: • Boo – My “orange-and-white cat” has separation anxiety and is very attached to me. I adopted him as a baby, and he has been by my side for 5 months now, bringing me love and comfort every day. • Moo – My “grey cat.” I found Moo abandoned on the streets and gave him a home. He has a loving personality, and leaving him behind would be heartbreaking. Moving my cats internationally involves airline fees, health certificates, import permits, and specialized travel crates, which together cost around $1,200 USD per cat. I’ve done my best to save, but I still need help covering these essential expenses to ensure their safe and stress-free relocation which i never expected to cost this much. Any contribution, big or small, will help me keep my cats safe and together while I pursue my job in Dubai. I promise to provide updates on the move and share photos so you can see how your support made a difference. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me and my furry family members during this challenging time. 🐱💛

A Single Mother’s Mission to Protect 75 Abandoned

A Single Mother’s Mission to Protect 75 Abandoned
My Story — A Mother, a Teacher, and a Lifeline for Animals I am a single mom raising my beloved 15-year-old daughter while working as a university instructor in Lebanon. Every day I balance the responsibilities of being a parent, an educator, and a caregiver to those who cannot speak for themselves. My heart has always been with animals in need. Over the years, I have rescued and taken in 24 cats — each one with a story of struggle and survival. Among them is a blind cat who depends on me completely, along with a rescued dog who has found love and safety here. But my care doesn’t stop at the doors of my home. I also look after more than 50 stray cats in my neighborhood — feeding them, tending to their wounds, and providing shelter whenever possible. I have also taken in a stray dog who is deaf, giving him a safe space in a private shelter where he can live without fear. Every animal under my care has a name, a personality, and a place in my heart. But the cost of food, medical care, medications, vaccines, and special needs support is very high — especially while I am the sole provider for my daughter and working hard to make ends meet. I’ve always tried to manage everything on my own, but the expenses for these animals — many of whom have health issues or special needs — are far beyond what I can afford right now. I am reaching out with humility and hope, asking for help to cover: 🌟 Food and nutrition for the cats and dogs 🌟 Veterinary care (especially for the blind and deaf animals) 🌟 Shelter and safe space maintenance 🌟 Medications, vaccines, and urgent treatments Your support — no matter how small — will help me continue this mission of compassion. You can make a real difference in the lives of these innocent beings who deserve care, love, and dignity. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading my story and for your support. Together, we can give these animals hope — a second chance at life.

$1 Christmas Challenge to save GMAP Dog Shelter

$1 Christmas Challenge to save GMAP Dog Shelter
This Christmas, we are launching our biggest community challenge ever: $1 from every person who follows us = $51,000 to save GMAP. Why $1? Because we believe in the power of this family. We believe that if each of us gives a tiny amount, together we can give the animals under our care the stable, safe, loving future they deserve. And because right now GMAP is drowning. 2025 was one of the hardest years we have ever lived through, rescues under bombing, war zone missions, animals shot, poisoned, abandoned, chained, starving, left behind. We fought through every crisis, every emergency, every heartbreak, but the financial pressure has become unbearable. If we don’t act now, we cannot start 2026 with strength. This fundraiser will allow us to finally breathe again. It will allow us to: - Close every debt that has kept us awake at night, from emergencies, surgeries, boarding, and food. - Buy a car so we can operate, respond to emergencies, and reach animals in danger. - Secure long-term food stock so no dog ever sleeps hungry. - Improve and winter proof the shelter for the years to come - Expand safe spaces for seniors, disabled dogs, and overcrowded enclosures. - Cover critical medical care and emergency surgeries. - Stabilize our team so daily care never stops. - Build a small crisis fund so GMAP never reaches this breaking point again. For the first time in years, we have the chance to start a new year strong instead of scared, stable instead of drowning, hopeful instead of fighting to survive day after day. And all it takes is $1 from each of you. Be part of our Christmas Challenge. Help us enter 2026 with dignity, strength, and hope. Together, if each of us gives one single dollar, we will create the biggest act of kindness GMAP has ever seen.
