I never imagined I would have to write this message, but my family is in a desperate situation, and I have no choice but to ask for help.
We have no father to support us, and with Sri Lanka’s economic crisis, things have become unbearable. Every day is a struggle just to afford food, let alone a safe place to live. Our current shelter is falling apart, and I am terrified of what the future holds for us.
All I want is to build a small, safe home for my family—a place where we don’t have to live in fear of the rain, the cold, or the uncertainty of tomorrow. But with no financial stability, this dream feels impossible without help.
