HELP SUPPORT THE ANIMALS OF LEBANON

HELP SUPPORT THE ANIMALS OF LEBANON
Hi! My name is Sarah I am 24 years old and at 17 I decided to change my path and focus on saving animals from the streets of Lebanon. The streets of Lebanon are not kind for the animals, cats and dogs are abused on a daily basis in ways you cannot imagine. Everyday, I encounter dogs and cats that are shot, abused, beaten, neglected, they’re unwanted everywhere they go and there’s no hope for them here. Since I was 17, I rescued more than 300 animals, successfully rehomed more than 100 dogs and cats across the globe (Switzerland, France, Canada, USA, Spain, Uk) I work extremely hard so I can give them the life they deserve, while they are in Lebanon, they are given the best veterinary care possible then they move to paid facilities where they will be rehabilitated until they’re healthy enough to travel abroad. This mission became very big, I currently have more than 160 animals directly under my care and I am responsible for far too many on the streets where I feed them and care for them. My monthly expenses became huge, I have a full time job on top of the rescuing and things became impossible to maintain with the increase of the prices of everything. The war that took place in 2024 made things worse, too many animals were affected and I had to be available and take all of them. Now there’s a monthly struggle to raise the amounts needed to cover everything that goes into the rescue of these babies, from their food, boarding fees, medical etc… I am simply drowning in bills and for the first time in many years, I am obliged to stop rescuing due to lack of funds. The first to be directly affected are the stray animals that wait for me everyday to feed them. I am praying everyday that my situation changes so I can keep going. I am a registered NGO (501c3) EIN: 33-4885367 If you wish to follow my work, I am very active on Social Media, mainly Instagram. One of my dogs got featured on the Dodo. My instagram page is: @rescuing_in_lebanon If you wish to support my work please don’t hesitate to reach out for more information. Thank you!!

$1 Christmas Challenge to save GMAP Dog Shelter

Animal

$1 Christmas Challenge to save GMAP Dog Shelter
This Christmas, we are launching our biggest community challenge ever: $1 from every person who follows us = $51,000 to save GMAP. Why $1? Because we believe in the power of this family. We believe that if each of us gives a tiny amount, together we can give the animals under our care the stable, safe, loving future they deserve. And because right now GMAP is drowning. 2025 was one of the hardest years we have ever lived through, rescues under bombing, war zone missions, animals shot, poisoned, abandoned, chained, starving, left behind. We fought through every crisis, every emergency, every heartbreak, but the financial pressure has become unbearable. If we don’t act now, we cannot start 2026 with strength. This fundraiser will allow us to finally breathe again. It will allow us to: - Close every debt that has kept us awake at night, from emergencies, surgeries, boarding, and food. - Buy a car so we can operate, respond to emergencies, and reach animals in danger. - Secure long-term food stock so no dog ever sleeps hungry. - Improve and winter proof the shelter for the years to come - Expand safe spaces for seniors, disabled dogs, and overcrowded enclosures. - Cover critical medical care and emergency surgeries. - Stabilize our team so daily care never stops. - Build a small crisis fund so GMAP never reaches this breaking point again. For the first time in years, we have the chance to start a new year strong instead of scared, stable instead of drowning, hopeful instead of fighting to survive day after day. And all it takes is $1 from each of you. Be part of our Christmas Challenge. Help us enter 2026 with dignity, strength, and hope. Together, if each of us gives one single dollar, we will create the biggest act of kindness GMAP has ever seen.

Urgent Cancer Treatment Support
💙 Help Gretta Fight for Her Life – Urgent Cancer Treatment Needed 💙 My name is Gretta. I never imagined I would have to write these words, but I am now in the fight of my life. I have been diagnosed with aggressive, metastatic cancer that has spread to my liver. The only hope to stop it is to begin intensive chemotherapy, targeted liver ablation, advanced systemic therapy and possibly surgery. These treatments must start together and without delay to give me a chance to stop the cancer from advancing. The truth is painful. Time is running out. If treatment does not begin soon, I may lose the chance for procedures that could save my life. But if I act quickly, while I still qualify, there is real hope for healing. I am raising funds to cover: ✨ Intensive chemotherapy to fight the cancer throughout my body ✨ Targeted liver ablation and advanced systemic therapy ✨ Critical diagnostic studies to plan the safest path forward ✨ Care to manage the severe pain caused by the liver metastases Every contribution, no matter the size, is a light in my darkest hour. It means more than treatment. It means a chance to live, to continue fighting and to keep holding on to faith. Even through the fear and the pain, I believe in the mercy of God, in the power of love, and in the strength we find when we stand together. If you are able to help, you are not only giving me treatment. You are giving me the most precious gift: the chance to live. From the deepest part of my heart, thank you. With love, faith and hope, Gretta 🤍 Healing flows by the mercy of our Almighty God. Amen.

Save Khawla and Khalil's lives from illness.

Emergency

Save Khawla and Khalil's lives from illness.
UPDATE: This was fund was initially created for Khawla, whose story is written further below, but has been updated to include her brother, Khalil, the youngest of the family and the only one born during the genocide. Unfortunately, Khalil suffered from a growth in his skull since he was a baby, and his parents had hoped that it was benign. After consulting with numerous doctors and undergoing tests and scans, they have been informed that he will be in need of surgery as the tumour is connected to his brain. This fund is set up to help the Al-Muranekh family with their medical woes. The following is the initial message of the fundraiser, detailing Khawla's plight: Khawla is a sweet child who has lived a third of her life under genocide. Her family has undergone unspeakable horrors, having their homes destroyed, their father grievously injured, and being forced to evacuate multiple times and live on the streets. Only yesterday they were forced to evacuate again. A few months ago, Khawla was seriously wounded by a bomb dropped on the tents of the displaced, along with her siblings, Razan and Maria, who also sustained injuries. Her injury has left her with terrible scars and a disability: she can no longer walk properly and is no longer the happy child she once was. Medical documentation is available in the photos attached to this campaign. Khawla's parents want her to have a chance at life. They want her to receive treatment abroad as the health system in Gaza has been decimated by the occupation's policy of eliminating Palestinian society by rendering life impossible. Please help Khawla and Khalil get the treatment they need and deserve.

ائتلاف الأقضية الأربعة #شمالنا
ائتلاف الأقضية الأربعة #شمالنا
Our Story Shamaluna (translates as ‘our North’), is an independent socio-political movement, formed by citizens from Zgharta, Bcharre, Koura and Batroun in search for a better future. “A safer and healthier Lebanon for us and future generations”. While placing the public interest as a basic principle for practicing politics, away from sectarian frameworks and on the basis of equality and social justice, Shamaluna works towards building bottom-up processes in which local communities are mobilized to achieve their social, economic and political rights. In times of Democracy Fatigue, Shamaluna provides a horizontal platform for collective work and decision making: For the first time in Lebanon, Shamaluna is introducing the Primary Election concept, by which the people are provided with the opportunity to choose the candidates that represent them in the upcoming parliamentary elections 2022. Why Support Us While Shamaluna is a volunteer-led initiative, our establishment is expanding as the parliamentary election approaches, which requires that the team fully dedicates itself to the political campaign in order to make this experience a successful one. Being financially unrestricted guarantees our sovereignty, therefore we only accept unconditional grants. We count on the financial support of caring individuals like ourselves, with clear and open agendas. People who believe that this leading project is laying the groundwork for a more prosperous future, further away from corruption and nepotism. Hoping that this initiative will be the first of many to come.

Help Us End the Suffering of Homeless Pets in Leb
Help Us End the Suffering of Homeless Pets in Leb
Together, we can end the Suffering of Homeless Animals in Lebanon! Lebanon’s streets are overflowing with abandoned and suffering animals. Shelters are full, and every day, more cats and dogs are left to struggle—abused, starving, shot, poisoned, hit by cars, or worse. The government provides no real support for animal welfare, and the cycle of suffering continues. It’s time for real change. We are launching a long-overdue spay and neuter campaign to tackle this crisis at its root. By working with ethical municipalities, VET hospitals and dedicated individuals, we will reduce the stray population humanely, prevent future suffering, and give these animals a fighting chance. Each dog we help costs $150, covering spaying/neutering, microchipping, and a rabies vaccine—not just to protect the animal, but also the people around them from this deadly virus. With your support, we can make a lasting impact, one life at a time (TNR for cats will hopefully follow). This is a permanent initiative, and we need your help to keep it going. Every donation goes directly to funding life-saving surgeries, medical care, and outreach efforts. Be part of the solution—donate today and help us create a safer, kinder future for Lebanon’s animals. P.S: you can sponsor or co-sponsor with a friend, as many dogs as you'd like! Every small donation will make a big impact. Thank you for your support!!!

Khayar: To empower Lebanese students
Khayar: To empower Lebanese students
We aim to support Lebanese students, all around the world, during these devastating times. Khayar is a community-based platform that engages with students in a global network, bringing together bright minds for a brighter future. How did Khayar come about? In 2019 political instability, wide-spread corruption, and an orchestrated Ponzi scheme caused Lebanon’s fragile economy to collapse. Today between a plummeting Lira and unlawful capital controls set by banks, thousands of Lebanese students pursuing degrees around the globe and at home are at risk of having to terminate or forfeit their education. Even though Lebanon is a signatory to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Lebanon is far from any form of proper application with regard to Article 26; the universal right to education and human development. In a social culture where the youth find their education deeply intertwined with political clientelism, most parents and students say “Ma ma’ae Khayar tene” meaning “I have no other Choice”. Khayar was organized with the intent of empowering a generation growing up in Lebanon’s most devastating economic period and liberating their right to education from the shackles of political influence . Khayar, a choice, is what each and every student needs right now. Ambitious dreams, proper education, and the achievement of one's highest ambitions are only found once the required assets are in place to ensure that equal opportunity is available to all citizens of the state. “When you educate one person, you can change a life; when you educate many, you can change the world” Please visit the Khayar website for more information: https://khayar.me/

In support of the Anti Racism Movement
In support of the Anti Racism Movement
About ARM Anti-Racism Movement (ARM) organizes alongside migrant workers, including women domestic workers, living and working under the oppressive Kafala system. We work with migrant-led collectives to support their community organizing, collective action, self-advocacy and activism against systemic racism and injustice. ARM’ main pillars of work include community building through our Migrant Community Center (MCC); working on advocacy, campaigning, supporting grassroots initiative building; and through offering legal counseling and casework. Our Story ARM was launched in 2010 as a grassroots collective by young Lebanese feminist activists in collaboration with migrant workers and migrant domestic workers following a racist incident at one of Beirut’s most well-known private beach resorts. ARM activists, using a hidden camera, filmed the administration’s blatant acts of discrimination and segregation. Interest grew in this small volunteer-based movement, members increased, and our interventions grew in scope and scale. Later this year, ARM opened its first MCC and soon after, in 2012, registered officially as an NGO in Lebanon, with a growing staff team in order to increase its capacity to carry out wider operations to fight racist discrimination, abuse and exploitation in Lebanon. ARM works to achieve social, economic and gender justice for all migrant workers and racialized groups in Lebanon. We recognize the significance of self-organizing and actively support Migrant Domestic Worker leadership in rights activism. A primary focus of ARM is women migrant domestic workers living and working under the oppressive Kafala System, which is used to recruit and hire foreign labor in Lebanon, Jordan and the Gulf states. Our Values We adopt a feminist ethics of care in our work, where we value attentiveness, responsibility, responsiveness, and compassion. We also privilege the voices of migrant workers in every aspect of our work. We use a social justice framework as the basis for our approach, upholding fundamental human rights for everyone in our communities. We value the expression and practice of solidarity among all marginalized communities as a necessary alliance against oppressive and unjust systems. We view our everyday work as political and always seek to address the larger social, economic, cultural and policy structures that enable discrimination, abuse, and rights violations. We value the importance of building safe and strong communities that sustain the activism and offer supportive social networks for migrants and their allies. Why Support Us Your contributions are some of the most useful funding we receive. Considering that these donations can be used exactly as we want, it gives us the leniency to prioritize spendings based on the community’s needs. Considering that we are operating in a context of crisis, this margin of freedom is vital for the well being of our work and the communities that we support. We're counting on you!

Nadim, just at 51 years old, had a life changing experience

This campaign tells the story of Nadim, who experienced a life-altering accident when he fell from a scaffold. As a result, his daily tasks became extremely challenging.
