HELP SUPPORT THE ANIMALS OF LEBANON

Animal

HELP SUPPORT THE ANIMALS OF LEBANON
Hi! My name is Sarah I am 24 years old and at 17 I decided to change my path and focus on saving animals from the streets of Lebanon. The streets of Lebanon are not kind for the animals, cats and dogs are abused on a daily basis in ways you cannot imagine. Everyday, I encounter dogs and cats that are shot, abused, beaten, neglected, they’re unwanted everywhere they go and there’s no hope for them here. Since I was 17, I rescued more than 300 animals, successfully rehomed more than 100 dogs and cats across the globe (Switzerland, France, Canada, USA, Spain, Uk) I work extremely hard so I can give them the life they deserve, while they are in Lebanon, they are given the best veterinary care possible then they move to paid facilities where they will be rehabilitated until they’re healthy enough to travel abroad. This mission became very big, I currently have more than 160 animals directly under my care and I am responsible for far too many on the streets where I feed them and care for them. My monthly expenses became huge, I have a full time job on top of the rescuing and things became impossible to maintain with the increase of the prices of everything. The war that took place in 2024 made things worse, too many animals were affected and I had to be available and take all of them. Now there’s a monthly struggle to raise the amounts needed to cover everything that goes into the rescue of these babies, from their food, boarding fees, medical etc… I am simply drowning in bills and for the first time in many years, I am obliged to stop rescuing due to lack of funds. The first to be directly affected are the stray animals that wait for me everyday to feed them. I am praying everyday that my situation changes so I can keep going. I am a registered NGO (501c3) EIN: 33-4885367 If you wish to follow my work, I am very active on Social Media, mainly Instagram. One of my dogs got featured on the Dodo. My instagram page is: @rescuing_in_lebanon If you wish to support my work please don’t hesitate to reach out for more information. Thank you!!

Urgent Cancer Treatment Support

Urgent Cancer Treatment Support
💙 Help Gretta Fight for Her Life – Urgent Cancer Treatment Needed 💙 My name is Gretta. I never imagined I would have to write these words, but I am now in the fight of my life. I have been diagnosed with aggressive, metastatic cancer that has spread to my liver. The only hope to stop it is to begin intensive chemotherapy, targeted liver ablation, advanced systemic therapy and possibly surgery. These treatments must start together and without delay to give me a chance to stop the cancer from advancing. The truth is painful. Time is running out. If treatment does not begin soon, I may lose the chance for procedures that could save my life. But if I act quickly, while I still qualify, there is real hope for healing. I am raising funds to cover: ✨ Intensive chemotherapy to fight the cancer throughout my body ✨ Targeted liver ablation and advanced systemic therapy ✨ Critical diagnostic studies to plan the safest path forward ✨ Care to manage the severe pain caused by the liver metastases Every contribution, no matter the size, is a light in my darkest hour. It means more than treatment. It means a chance to live, to continue fighting and to keep holding on to faith. Even through the fear and the pain, I believe in the mercy of God, in the power of love, and in the strength we find when we stand together. If you are able to help, you are not only giving me treatment. You are giving me the most precious gift: the chance to live. From the deepest part of my heart, thank you. With love, faith and hope, Gretta 🤍 Healing flows by the mercy of our Almighty God. Amen.

Help my family survive and evacuate Gaza

Family

Help my family survive and evacuate Gaza
I am Sanaa's father.. After we emerged from death.. After our house was destroyed, My wife, my one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, and I were expelled by the occupation from northern Gaza and forced to flee on November 11, 2023. We became homeless, without clothing, and without food. Now we live in a tent made of nylon and we are trying to survive in it despite the severe cold and rain. My daughter is getting cold and I cannot provide her with a blanket, clothes, or diapers. Because of the war, I have become unemployed. My family has no income and I cannot provide less than you can imagine for my family due to the high cost of goods and the huge increase in prices. My father, who is also 62 years old, is a war victim and has chronic diseases and is a patient with asthma and pneumonia. He needs continuous treatment and I cannot provide it for him. The money we are seeking to collect will serve two vital purposes. First, it will enable my family to escape the horrors of war in Gaza, and provide them with the necessary means to seek safety in a safer environment. Secondly, the money will be instrumental in rebuilding our lives, whether in Gaza after the war or elsewhere, where peace and stability provide an opportunity for a new beginning. This includes the urgent medical treatment my father needs. We are appealing for your kindness and humanity to help my father and my family during this critical time. Your generosity can provide them with a lifeline, helping them escape the dangers of war and begin the journey towards healing and rebuilding their lives. Please donate even a little for my family because your donation makes a huge difference in our lives. I am here today to ask for your help so that my family can survive and be evacuated from this war and reach true safety and peace. I understand that we are all going through difficult times, so anything helps.. whether it is your love and support, a donation, sharing my story, or sending love, prayers, positive and healing vibes. All is accepted and greatly appreciated.

Save Khawla and Khalil's lives from illness.

Emergency

Save Khawla and Khalil's lives from illness.
UPDATE: This was fund was initially created for Khawla, whose story is written further below, but has been updated to include her brother, Khalil, the youngest of the family and the only one born during the genocide. Unfortunately, Khalil suffered from a growth in his skull since he was a baby, and his parents had hoped that it was benign. After consulting with numerous doctors and undergoing tests and scans, they have been informed that he will be in need of surgery as the tumour is connected to his brain. This fund is set up to help the Al-Muranekh family with their medical woes. The following is the initial message of the fundraiser, detailing Khawla's plight: Khawla is a sweet child who has lived a third of her life under genocide. Her family has undergone unspeakable horrors, having their homes destroyed, their father grievously injured, and being forced to evacuate multiple times and live on the streets. Only yesterday they were forced to evacuate again. A few months ago, Khawla was seriously wounded by a bomb dropped on the tents of the displaced, along with her siblings, Razan and Maria, who also sustained injuries. Her injury has left her with terrible scars and a disability: she can no longer walk properly and is no longer the happy child she once was. Medical documentation is available in the photos attached to this campaign. Khawla's parents want her to have a chance at life. They want her to receive treatment abroad as the health system in Gaza has been decimated by the occupation's policy of eliminating Palestinian society by rendering life impossible. Please help Khawla and Khalil get the treatment they need and deserve.

I Can't Do This Alone Anymore. Help Me Help Them!
I Can't Do This Alone Anymore. Help Me Help Them!
Since 2016, I’ve been rescuing and caring for animals (all species) in need—completely on my own. Today, I have 15 dogs (half of them seniors), 5 cats, and 3 goats under my care. They don’t live in a shelter but in a house entirely for them because I believe they deserve a real home, wihtout the hardships of shelter life. My seniors will stay under my wing forever, safe and loved. The younger ones are still looking for homes. Beyond those in my care, I feed dozens of stray animals on the streets every day, making sure they don’t go hungry. Over the years, I’ve also found loving homes for 50+ dogs, giving them a second chance at life. Lebanon has faced unimaginable hardship—economic collapse, skyrocketing inflation, and, most recently, the war that shook our country last year. Through it all, I continued to care for these animals, funding everything on my own, with very little help. But I’ve hit rock bottom, especially after relocating twice in one year which led me to spending thousands of dollars to make the new locations as comfortable as possible for them. Food, medical bills, and daily care have become overwhelming, and I can no longer do this alone. I never wanted to ask for help, but I have no choice. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference. It will help provide food, medical care, and a safe, loving space for these beautiful souls. In addition to supporting my rescues, I also want to help other rescuers and shelters with spaying/neutering their dogs—one of the most effective ways to reduce suffering. If you’d like, you can donate specifically toward spaying/neutering efforts to help even more animals, including the strays I come across. If you can’t donate, please share this campaign—spreading the word is just as valuable. I’ve done everything I can to protect them, but now I need your help to keep going. 🌱 “Until every cage is empty, every chain is broken, and every soul is free, we keep fighting for them.” 🌱 Compassion for all animal species... Donate, if you can...

Ayadina's Weekly Soup Kitchen initiative
Ayadina's Weekly Soup Kitchen initiative
In the heart of Lebanon's ongoing economic crisis, Ayadina Association continues to stand as a beacon of hope, particularly for our beloved senior citizens. In response to the persistent economic hardship, we are continuing our SOUP KITCHEN initiative for the elderly. Every week, we open our doors to around 80 seniors, offering them a warm, wholesome meal to take away. For many, these meals aren't just sustenance; they're a lifeline, supporting not only the elderly but also their families who rely on these provisions to survive. One of our cherished seniors, now unable to leave her home, shares her gratitude: "Ayadina's center was like my second home, where I spent many cherished years. Though I can't visit anymore, the meals brought to me by a friend are a reminder of the warmth and care Ayadina provides. The quality of the food is exceptional, a testament to the generosity and dedication of Ayadina's team." Ayadina Association, nestled in the heart of Nabaa, Beirut's impoverished neighborhood, was born from one woman's vision to uplift her community. Maya Najjar, our Founder and President, started with a single-handed effort, offering aid to those in need. Today, Ayadina stands as a socio-cultural NGO, providing seniors not just with meals, but with a sense of belonging and a space to socialize. We firmly believe that by changing one person's life, we create a ripple effect that nourishes the entire community. Through Ayadina, hope flows freely, touching every corner of our neighborhood. Over 80 seniors now call Ayadina their second home, a testament to the inclusive and compassionate environment we strive to create. Regardless of background or circumstance, Ayadina welcomes all, supporting both local residents and refugee communities alike. But we can't do this alone. We need your support to continue our mission of providing comfort and sustenance to those who need it most. Your donation, no matter how small, can make a world of difference to a senior citizen in need. Together, let's ensure that no one in our community feels forgotten. Donate today to Ayadina's Soup Kitchen initiative and help us continue serving our beloved senior citizens with dignity and compassion. Thank you for your generosity and support. Giving Makes Hopes True - Teach For Lebanon
Giving Makes Hopes True - Teach For Lebanon
Every Child Deserves a Chance to Dream Right now, in Lebanon, thousands of children are losing their chance to learn. Imagine being 11 years old and never experiencing a full, uninterrupted school year. Not because there are no schools, but because learning is constantly interrupted, classrooms lack essential resources, families are struggling to keep children in school, and crises keep disrupting education year after year. This is the heartbreaking reality for thousands of children in Lebanon today. But there is hope. In classrooms across the country, a Teach For Lebanon Fellow shows up every single day. 75,500 students have discovered that even when everything else falls apart, learning can continue. Through 341 Fellows in 153 schools, since 2008, we've proven that with the right support, dreams don't just survive—they grow. It's the story of Lyn, who holds tightly to her studies because they're her only path forward. Of Huda, a Syrian refugee who began the year silent and ended it delivering her graduation speech. Of students who, even in times of uncertainty and unrest, find calm and courage in the presence of a Fellow who believes in them. The transformation is real, and it goes beyond the Fellowship. Once our Fellows complete the Fellowship, they become alumni. Our 273 alumni have reached more than 1 million children, and 76% continue to work and contribute to rebuilding Lebanon's future. Be the reason a child opens a book FELLOWSHIP ALLY - Choose your monthly amount to sustain hope FELLOWSHIP FOUNDATION - $720/month gives a Fellow everything they need to transform lives FELLOWSHIP CHAMPION - $1,560/month sponsors a Fellow's complete journey from training to triumph When you believe in a child before they believe in themselves, everything changes. Give today, and keep hope alive in Lebanon’s classrooms.

Nadim, just at 51 years old, had a life changing experience

This campaign tells the story of Nadim, who experienced a life-altering accident when he fell from a scaffold. As a result, his daily tasks became extremely challenging. Despite facing financial difficulties, there was a glimmer of hope when Nadim was approved for a trial treatment in France that could restore his autonomy. However, the cost of the treatment was approximately $140,000. The campaign successfully raised $51,085, which greatly influenced Nadim and his family.
